  5. As soon as we receive authorization for service we will have you complete our intake packet and return it on your first day with any additional required documentation.

Getting Started

Week 1:

During the first week of sessions a behavioral assessment will be conducted to identify your child's specific areas of strengths and weaknesses. For most clients, we use the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program. The VB-MAPP breaks language and related skills down into 16 different skill areas (or domains) including expressive language, listener responding, visual perceptual and match to sample skills, motor skills, and social skills. By assessing the occurrence of these skills under various circumstances (functions) a more effective and individualized intervention program that directly targets your child's primary needs can be developed. The VB-MAPP will also provide an analysis of barriers that are affecting your child's ability to learn such as non-compliance, aggressive behaviors, and tantruming.

Week 2:

During the second week of sessions, the results from your child's initial assessment will be used to develop an individualized treatment plan that focuses on your child's specific needs. Staff will then be trained to implement this intervention in a one on one format.

Week 3 onward:

Your child's progress will be monitored and reviewed on a daily basis. Adjustments will be made frequently to your child's treatment plan in order to optimize their learning. Programming will be reviewed with the parent at least once a month and a re-evaluation of your child's skill set will be conducted once every six months to track progress. All services are either provided or supervised by a board certified behavior analyst.

ETS Social

ETS Social is our group-based approach to therapy.
Does your child struggle to make and maintain meaningful friendships? Does he/she have autism or other social struggles that make it difficult for them to interact with peers their own age? If so, join ETS for our BCBA led social groups and camps. We are continually forming groups.

We carefully match ETS Students by age, communication ability, and level of social development so our therapists can tailor group treatment plans to address the needs of each child. ETS Social groups come together once a week at our learning center for an hour and a half. During that time, groups cover a wide range of scenarios, including how to lose a game, play at recess, talk to each other, join a group, and use toys. One therapist never works with more than three children at a time.

ETS Social will help your child:
  • Develop play and social skills
  • Compromise and play with others
  • Understand and manage emotions
  • Control impulses
  • Communicate with others

ETS One-to-One

ETS One-to-One is our individual ABA therapy.
Every ETS Student has a unique set of needs, and many respond better to therapy in a one-on-one setting. Through ETS One-to-One, our therapists design a personalized treatment plan for your child and work with you to establish a weekly therapy schedule.
As you can imagine, one-on-one sessions vary significantly from child to child based on their age, needs, and goals—but no matter what the variables are, ETS therapists find creative ways to make learning fun. We offer ETS On-to-One in your home or at our Clinic.
